Nicky takes a Chair

Nicky is looking forward to a year in the hot seat following her election as Chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Thames & Chiltern Group. The CIPR is the largest public relations institute in Europe, with over 8000 members.Nicky has served on the regional committee since April 2004 and as Vice-Chair since May 2005. During her year as Regional Chair, she will be working with her colleagues on the committee to deliver a programme of events, networking opportunities and training for members in the region, which covers Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire.
“The Institute provides a clear lead to the UK’s PR practitioners, and therefore plays a vital role in setting the highest standards for professionalism in our industry,” comments Nicky. “I’m really pleased to be chairing the Thames & Chiltern Group and representing the interests of PR professionals living and working within this region.”
